Ministry of Rural Development and Resilience

The Ministry of Rural Development and Resilience in Southwest State, Somalia, has announced a new partnership with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The Minister recently met with the USAID team in Nairobi to discuss collaborative initiatives focused on rural development, recovery, and resilience.

“This partnership is a significant step forward in our mission to build a prosperous and sustainable future for our rural communities,” the Minister stated. “We look forward to working with USAID to achieve our shared goals.”

The partnership will support a range of projects aimed at strengthening rural communities in Southwest State, including efforts to improve agricultural productivity and access to essential services.

“By combining our expertise and resources, we believe we can make a meaningful impact,” said the USAID representative.

The announcement has been welcomed by local leaders, who see this as an opportunity to drive positive change in rural areas.
